The great Hawaiian music helped lift our spirits as we looked into the subject of possible Hawaiian burials in the path of the Honolulu Rail project. Hinaleimoana Falemei of the O’ahu Island Burial Council and Kai Markell, Director of the Native Rights Hale at OHA described the situation unfolding as the City moves ahead with plans for heavy rail through the Kaka’ako area.
