We pumped full on summer time music for this Saturday together because we know how much you deserve the weekend! Peter Apo was our guest around the kitchen table, sharing his view of how Hawaiian culture can shape business and the visitor industry here. As Executive Director of the Native Hawaiian Hospitality Association, Peter has put a lot of thought toward communicating the essence of Hawaiian culture. He says relationships are the core of a Hawaiian world view.
Our ‘olelo no’eau this week: ‘A’ohe ‘ulu e loa’a i ka pōkole oka lou, translated as: No breadfruit can be reached if the picking stick is too short. This ‘olelo warns that there is no success without preparation.
